After a successful first year of collaboration with Valencia C.F., Global Premier Soccer South East Europe is welcoming the 2018-19 football season. The program has already begun since June with the Elite National Try Out Camps in Bulgaria and Cyprus. The players who have been selected from these camps will be invited to participate in the 1st Development Camp in Greece. The Camp will be held in Athens from 2 to 5 September, under the supervision and guidance of coaches of the Valencia CF Academy.

In the previous football season, the Elite Program has been conducted with great success. After the completion of the 1st Stage of the program (3 camps in Athens and 2 in Thessaloniki) which aimed at the detection, evaluation and training of talented young footballers, those selected for the next stage in each age category participated in the 1st Valencia C.F. Elite Tournament which was held in the Municipality of Nafplio. In the tournament, players in the three age categories played against professional-level teams such as U13 Valencia C.F. Academy, AEK, AsterasTripolis and scouts of professional clubs from Greece and abroad watched the games.

The young players selected for the third stage of the elite program from Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia and Cyprus formed the International SEE / Valencia C.F. for each age category and participated in a high-level tournament.

The age group U-15 visited the Academy of Valencia C.F. in Spain to train and compete with, among others, the Valencia CF team, while the U-13 team participated in a tournament in Rudozem, Bulgaria, which was organized by a soccer school of our network and it was a quality football experience.

As for the U-17 age group, many players have already taken part in trials in order to start their “professional football trip”.

The GPS Southeast Europe Valencia C.F. Soccer Program aims to spread the Valencia C.F. image and philosophy all around the world and to bring the renowned methodology of Valencia C.F. in every part of the planet.GPS Southeast Europe Valencia CF Soccer Program aims to identify, train and develop the most talented young footballers in the region of Greece and South East Europe acting as an extensive scouting network for Valencia CF. To achieve this, the most talented kids will have the opportunity to enter the Elite Program and train on dedicated camps in their under the guidance of highly qualified GPS Southeast Europe / Valencia C.F.

The Elite Program aims to best prepare and develop skilled young footballers from South East Europe so they can have the chance, if selected, to compete for a position at the Valencia C.F. Academy or other Academies of Professional European Clubs once they turn 16 years old. The program is divided in four stages. Every stage is designed to meet the needs of the players for each different age group.

The second step of the elite program, for this football season, will be held in Athens between September 2nd and 5th 2018 in the facilities ofFous de Foot, in Vari& Renti Arena Soccer Club in Renti and it will be a trial camp for the kids that aren’t already in the elite program in order for them to enter the program. The camp will be conducted under the guidance and supervision of Valencia C.F Academy and GPS coaches.

Annual Schedule 2018-19
The program involves players and goalkeepers born in the years 2001 to 2008 and is divided in four stages:

1st Stage: Outside Greece
Elite Tryout National Camp: Cyprus and Bulgaria
This stage has been completed with great success and the athletes that have been selected, have been invited in the 2nd stage.

2nd Stage: Nationwide (in Greece)
Elite Development National Camps: 3 campsin Greece per year
• 1st Camp: 2 – 5 September 2018
• 2nd Camp: 16-18 November 2018
• 3rd Camp: 3-6 January 2019
Age Groups:

• U-18 (2001-2002)
• U-16(2003-2004)
• U-14(2005-2006)
• U-12 (2007-2008)

Duration: 3 - 4 days
Training Sessions: 5 to 6 (75’ each)

3rd Stage: Selected players from Southeast Europe – NATIONAL SELECTIONS
Those who will be deemed ready for the next step will be called (selected) to form the National Team of their Country. That team will train and face in friendly games the selected players from all the other countries in Southeast Europe in specially designed camps and international tournaments.
Elite Development Tournament: Once per year in Greece (April 2019)
Duration: 4 days

4th Stage: SOUTH EAST EUROPE ELITE PROGRAM – INTERNATIONAL TEAM
1 Selected Team per age group: 18 players per team
Trip to Spain: Friendly games with the Valencia C.F. Academy and GPS – Spain. Alternatively, participation on an official GPS Spain / Valencia C.F. tournament.
Duration: 5 to 7 days
